If you're over the age of 25 and grew up in the States, you'll probably recollect these treasures.
We All Sing with the Same Voice - I remember having a crush on one of the girls in this (back in the day, folks, when I was 5 - don't get any freakin' ideas), and no, for the life of me I can't remember which one

"Family kidnapped by ninjas. Need $ for karate lessons."
I wanted to take a photo of this guy, but if I had, I would have felt obligated to give him a buck. It was amusing enough that I almost felt his effort should be rewarded - but no, we can't encourage them to stay on the street, no matter how witty.

3/02/2007 05:12:00 AM | some of my favorite tracks of all time
for whatever reason, i decided i'd list these out. i totally may have missed a few that belong here. with the exception of Home by Cynthia Lin (which I have to play off myspace) these are the songs that are rated 5 stars in my iTunes library. yes, i'm very stingy with my stars.
House of the Rising Sun (The Animals)
Let It Be (The Beatles)
Hurt (Christina Aguilera)
Home (
Cynthia Lin)
Jesus of Suburbia (Green Day)
Bring On the Rain (JoDee Messina)
Waiting On the World to Change (John Mayer)
Otherside (Red Hot Chili Peppers)
Goodnight Moon (Shivaree)
Love Song (Third Day)
Haha, a pretty eclectic list. Strange, I like plenty of more upbeat songs, but I guess a song has to be pretty depressing or sentimental to have the best chance of my stamp of ultimate approval. Go ahead - critique, ridicule, or back me up... let me have it.

If you don't live in California, or if you don't ride a motorcycle (I think that covers everyone I know), this is what you're missing out on in life.

12/24/2006 11:09:00 AM | a mystery for the ages
Today in the afternoon, I made a discovery. I was wearing two pairs of boxers, the outer pair of which I had never seen. I seriously cannot fathom how this happened. I did not take a shower the night before nor in the morning, so my apparently I was wearing the inner pair when the outer pair was put on.
Turned out the outer pair belonged to my cousin Garrick - we're in Taiwan right now with a bunch of family and we're sharing a room.
